TAEKWONDO !!!!!

Early in the Saturday morning I have to wake up to go to taekwondo class at campus while most of my friends are on their way to go to Kuala Lumpur (this is due to PTPTN). As we know that student's account are full of money now.hhihihi... I came to gymnasium with full of excited because I am so interested to learn any martial art to defense myself. Let me introduce more about taekwondo. Taekwondo is a korean martial art of South Korea. In korean, tae  means "to strike or break with foot"; kwon means "to strike or break with fist"; and do means "way", "method", or "art". Thus, taekwondo may be loosely translated as "the art of the foot and fist" or "the art of kicking and punching. Taekwondo develops strength, speed, balance, flexibility, and stamina. An example of the union of mental and physical discipline is the breaking of wooden boards, bricks or tiles, which requires both physical mastery of the technique and the concentration to focus one's power. Two of the most popular systems of taekwondo are named solely after their respective organizations: the World Taekwondo Federation (WTF) and the International Taekwondo Federation (ITF). They are not so much differences but the national sport such as olympic will use the WTF rules. there are a lot of training equipment for this martial art. Some of them are shield target mitts, kicking target and others.
This is called kicking target

This is shields target mitts

I hope I am going to have a black belt soon !!!

quote for today: You never know how STRONG you are . . . until being strong is the ONLY choice you have  : )
